By accessing or using University Events ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
University Events is a software-as-a-service platform that enables organizations to create and manage events, handle registrations, and optionally collect payments through third-party payment processors. The Platform is primarily designed for use by universities and educational institutions.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Organization administrators are responsible for managing users within their organization and ensuring those users comply with these terms.
You agree not to:
The Platform integrates with third-party payment processors (such as TouchNet and Stripe) to facilitate event payment collection. University Events does not directly process, store, or have access to full payment card details.
Payment processing is subject to the terms and policies of the respective payment processor. University Events is not responsible for errors, delays, or failures in payment processing by third-party providers.
Refund policies are determined by the organization hosting the event. Questions about refunds should be directed to the hosting organization.
The Platform, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by University Events. You retain ownership of any content you upload or create on the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to host and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, University Events and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Platform.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
